Technical information

To determine the correct voltage of replacement bulbs for our traditional light chains, divide the operating voltage of 230/240 volts by the number of lights in a chain of lights (in series).

Example: for a 15-piece fairy light you need bulbs with a 16 volt (V) version (230 / 240V: 15 lights = 15.33 / 16V). Multiply the individual power W (watts) of a lamp by the number of lights so you get the overall performance of the fairy lights.

When replacing lamps in fairy lights, please make sure that you only used or used lamps of the same voltage and power throughout the fairy lights. Make sure that defective lamps are replaced immediately with new lamps. If you ignore this instruction, the still intact lamps will be overloaded, resulting in a total failure of the fairy lights. Furthermore, the warranty and liability claims against the manufacturer expire.
